If you have a crawl space you should look in your water heater room, typically located on the floor or in the floor vent of the room. In a basement it will typically b

At the first sign of a leak, you should immediately look for your water shut off valve. Your main shut off valve will be located where your water line comes into your home. If you have a crawl space you should look in your water heater room, typically located on the floor or in the floor vent of the room. In a basement it will typically be located on the side of the home facing the street, in the mechanical room or behind an access panel. If your fixture is leaking look inside your cabinet each fixture should be equipped with its own individual shut off valve, turn your handle so it is perpendicular to the pipe shutting down the water supply.
